Anthem for a new year

“Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That’s how the light gets in…”

From this heart to all of yours…may your New Year be filled with love, creativity and magic…we build the doors and then we pass through them…

“every heart, every heart / to love will come / but like a refugee…”

“For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We’ll drink a cup o’ kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.”

P.S. My new year’s resolution is to remain cheerfully cooperative with the primal flux.

  1. GENERAL QUESTION! Since when did the replies to comments start lining up like this? Is there any way to get back to the reply sitting underneath the comment? I liked that better, seems more personal to me. Anyone else experiencing changes like this?

  2. I see what you mean about the replies! I haven’t noticed this before. I hope it’s a glitch, otherwise how impersonal, right?

I love your anthem for the new year, John. I have a small, mixed media collage on my wall that I bought for a friend. It addresses the “cracks being how the light gets in.” I couldn’t part with it! I must need the reminder. And your resolution to “remain cheerfully cooperative with the primal flux” is wonderfully said. This resonates very soundly with my thoughts at this time, but you said it so much better! Cheers!

  4. DEAR EVERYBODY…I’m not posting anymore until WP sorts itself out. I’m frustrated by changes to my site that I hope are just glitches. I’ve done all I can think of to make it right including writing to WP and changing my Theme. If things don’t improve I will be looking to move to another service provider.
I will still be visiting though…
