The end is where we start from.”

We don’t often see flowers on one of your posts!

This is true Jo Nell, I’ve never been a ‘nature’ artist as such although I have spent much of my life in the wildness of the bush and the tameness of gardens. In this case there were dead flowers and a poem about Time and they came together…

This photo-poem is really beautiful and I feel like it is an opening to an interesting story. Or maybe it is simply a wonderful piece of art opening up potential for a variety of stories. Bottom line, I find this really moving.

You’re very kind Debra, thank you. It fascinates and pleases me to think about all of the signposts and doorways people discover in my art, passages to their own stories and emotions.

Beautiful. Very touching. The dried image and flowing words. So very true.

A duplicated image John? Love the carefully written beautiful hand writing of the poem peaking through. It can be quite painful discovering that endings and beginnings are ONE!

Yes Robert, so the duplicate is slightly different, darker. Somehow both appeared when I uploaded the image. I looked at them and decided to keep it as is.
The poem peeking through the flowers, half lost to sight, is deliberate.
Eliot always reminds me that it’s all a circle game…

this is a very touching poem. But I do not feel sad about it. Everything is a cycle, every new day starts with the sunrise. There has not to meen an end to something painful. The faded flowers point out that it maybe is something heardbreaking, but perhaps they are also a hint that it is time to pick new flowers for his love? The double image may have been a new beginning already. In the second cycle the poem seems to be more prominent, the flowers look the same. Do you know the poem? I can only recognize that “time may not be all” is always repeated. It´s a really nice post with picture and poeme.

Thank you for your visit, thoughts and observations Marvel. Yes, I know the poem, I wrote it and buried it under the dried flowers.
I enjoy dancing with the mystery.
My art is open so you may create your own story from what you can find, like a vision quest…
