Uncovered Treasure 6

#6

for those we loved

for those passing through

for those left behind

I write these words of silence

powerless

as they crumble into dust

and vanish on the winds of night

I have no record of the original photographer of this image. If anyone out there recognizes the photograph please let me know and I will immediately add due credit to the artist. Please see previous posts in this series for the background story.

  1. Your words go beautifully with the photo! Well done. Thanks for the recent visit to my blog. I have been behind in reading blogs – will take some time for yours while I am here. May 2014 be going well for you!

    1. thanks Cheryl…this is not a painting but a photograph from a found 35mm slide as are all of the images in this particular series…if you go back to #1 you can read the background story…I can see how you might think it’s a painting though, certainly has that look about it…
