  1. Great quote. I love this painting. So well done. I love how the face seems to be materializing or emerging. Makes me think of the Wizard of Oz.

  2. Love how the title works so well with the image. For some reason I”m reminded of Van Gogh’s painting with his bandaged ear. But this seems like a Jungian, surreal dream escaping from the (blue?) man’s mind. I’m wondering if he is still in ‘pleasure mode’ or ‘post pleasure mode.’ Or something else entirely that escapes me.
