Please see Intersections 2 for an explanation of this series.
Intersections 3 presents another well used Vancouver street intersection in graphic design – the description is below it. The complex dark lines are an artistic montage of overhead ‘trolly’ cables and the white lines indicate bus routes that run through this area of the city.

‘The 100′ series was initiated by my 100th Post in April 2012. As text and images are the essence of my blog I will post 100 pieces of textual art from historical and contemporary artists and from my own hand. To view the series to date click on ‘The 100’ in my Category Menu.
This one is nice, the colour. and the different lettertypes, each with their own charackter 🙂

Thanks Ina – being essentially a graphic art series, typography plays an important role – in fact this series will probably appeal mainly to lovers of typography and, of course, Vancouverites…

This is so cleverly done! Edgy, yet being beautiful. Heartbeats of a busy city. All the cables and routes…just like the many directions one’ s mind runs in.

Thank you Ese – and believe me, one’s mind (and feet) always need to run in many directions when crossing this intersection!…
